Submission Criteria for the ANZAME Undergraduate Student PrizeThe project must be by an undergraduate student and must be in an area of education relating to one of the health professions (medicine, nursing, midwifery, dentistry, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, etc.). Submissions
must consist of: Projects will be judged on their originality, student involvement, contribution to health professional education and quality of presentation. The recipient will be invited to attend the Annual Conference of ANZAME. In certain circumstances, consideration will be given to subsidising travel expenses for the recipient. The recipient will be encouraged to write a paper describing their work for publication in ANZAME's Journal - Focus on Health Professional Education. The 2006 prize was awarded to Alistair Escott, a medical student at Wellington School of Medicine, for his project "The medical student as principal stakeholder."
